I am so happy to have this new website up and running. This change has been coming for a long time, and we are finally here!
Where Sweet Spontaneity Started
This blog began as a creative project in 2009 when I was in my first year of university. I had just discovered blogs when searching “What to wear to college.” I kept it as a creative outlet that I shared with very few people. Then, the style of my posts began to change and I felt more comfortable sharing them with a wider audience. Next, I created an Instagram account and my focus shifted over there. At this point, I was not happy with the platform I was using, but it took time before I made a change. In hindsight, I am really pleased that I took my time before making the move. If I had done this a few years ago, this blog would be nothing like I want it to currently be.
How Sweet Spontaneity is Changing
I decided to leave my old blog behind and start fresh on this new website. This means that I am not migrating all of my old posts over. I plan to re-post some of the old posts over here on this blog, but that will not be many. Instead you will get to follow along as I re-introduce myself into the world of blog post writing. I plan to share posts about homemaking, feminine living, travel and adventure, and more of my current interests.
The New Sweet Spontaneity
My hope for Sweet Spontaneity is that it inspires you to find the adventure in day-to-day life. Not simply the beauty in the mundane, but transforming the mundane into beauty. My hope is that these posts will teach you simple tips, guide you in learning something new, and assist you in embracing the simple moments in life.
The Launch and Beyond
To celebrate the launch of the new Sweet Spontaneity, I will be sharing posts more frequently throughout the first month or so to give a taste of the topics I plan to cover. After that, I plan to share a new post every Tuesday. You can also find me on Instagram, where I don’t have a schedule, but share quite frequently.
Thank you so much for being here! Please feel free to reach out and say hi, let me know how you found this blog, or to suggest a post topic. To learn more about me, please check out the About page.
